There are over hundred ways to lose weight in market. Generally, people thinks losing weight equals to starving, or doing excessive exercise. In fact, it is good for us to know what exactly will happen during lose weight program.

  1. Hunger The number one rule in weight loss management is DO NOT GET HUNGRY. It could say you will fail to lose weight in the long term if you feel hungry under whatever methods or ways to lose weight. You might shout out unbelievably: “What?“ Yes. I repeat. In addition, when a people under starving (calories intake less than 900 per day) after a period of time, their BMR (basal metabolic rate) will be ruduced accordingly. When they cease lose weight program and eat back what they used to, extra calories that the body does not need will be stored as fats. As a results, weight gain at an alarming rate, and even worse than the previous body weight.

  3. Stress People tends to be stressed under any ways to lose weight. When we are under stress, a stress hormon named cortisol will be produced by our body. Cortisol stimulates the release of glucose, fats and amino acid for extra energy production. When it is at high level, it will trigger signaling mechanisms within the brain to increase our appetite and tell the fat cells to store as much fats as possible, usually at the abdominal. Only by bringing cortisol back into a normal level, we are able to alleviate that metabolic signal, so our appetite and blood sugar level is under better control and the fat cells are in a state where they are more likely to release fats, rather than store fats. In a study of a 6 month period, determining the effects of controlled cortisol levels and weight loss: # Cortisol treatment group experienced a decrease in their abdominal fat percentage by 1.5% and 2.0% in the third month and sixth month respectively. # The control group on the other hand experienced an increase in their abdominal fat percentage by 0.3% and 0.4% in the same period of time respectively.
  4. Decrease in weight Everyone can lose their body weight under any methods or ways to lose weight. In fact, by dieting without any training, you may end up losing some weight too. Yet, why a lot of people claim that their body weight are bounced back after the lose weight program? In a matter of fact, we need to know our body composition from time to time during the lose weight program, especially our body fat percentage and skeletal muscle percentage. There are ways to measure them. The most simple and effective way is to invest a karada scan from a medical equipment shop.

Simply stand on a scale and know you are losing weight does not work anymore. If your body weight decrease because of loss in lean muscle but not body fat, you will gain weight soon after ceasing the lose weight program. The best results that help most in any program for weight loss are decrease in body fat and increase in your lean muscle while having a healthy body weight range.
